Body Max XMT6700 Multi-Functional Trainer Review

This machine is not worth the price.I was expecting much, much better performance than it delievers. It is definitely not characteristic of how a $[...] exercise machine should operate. The action is harsh and very unsmooth.Friction is apparent to the point where I had to wait for the handle attachment to "catch-up" with my hands.I have used $[...] weight machines that operated more smoothly.I contacted the manufacturer, Body Flex Sports, and emailed them many pictures and vidoes to see if I had assembled something incorrectly.I was told that I had assembled it correctly, but that the machine "is what it is" and there was nothing they could or would do.Very disappointing and frustrating.I would not recommend this machine to anyone. The only positive thing about this whole transaction has been Amazom[...].The unit was originally shipped to the wrong address, and was missing parts but all in all Amazon has come through and made it right.

GymTronix GT300 Exerciser Review

Gymtronix GT300 is good to shape my abs for two months and broke down. The battery cover broke and couldn't hold the batteries inside to operate. I think this product is only good for two months. But I enjoyed it.

Product Description
Use GymTronix to shape and tone muscles without making efforts in minutes. The GymTronix generates small impulses to the muscle and causes it to contract and relax. It's the same technology used by professional athletes to keep in shape. It's Easy and Safe!

GP Deva Musical CD - A Memoir of a Great Patriarch III Review

I had this CD for few months and it does help me to find tranquility during my daily meditation. This masterpiece sure bringing in peace into mind: a day at home or during daily commute. A must have to reward oneself for his/her hard working; or a great gift idea to share the tranquility and peace with friends and families.

Highly recommend this CD!

Product Description
This piece was originally created as a piano suite "Patriarch" by the third Dharma Heir of Forshang Buddhism Master Lee Sun-Don in honor and in memory of his beloved teacher Yuan-Dao Bodhisattva, the second Patriarch of Forshang Buddhism. The piano suite was later rearranged by Pey-Wen Yen for the orchestral composition. Never trained in piano, Master Lee made music not through composing nor on scores. Instead, the jingling, profound melody flew spontaneously out of wisdom attained in his spiritual practice, with his deep remembrance of his beloved teacher galloping freely under his fingers. "A Memoir of a Great Patriarch III" was nominated for the 18th annual "Golden Melody Award" in Taiwan under the category of Traditional Art Music for the best composer in 2007.

Through his melodic compositions, Master Lee shares and manifests his deep Zen wisdom to introduce the harmonization of the spiritual body and the universe, timelessly and unconfined by the boundaries of space. When you listen to the songs of this disc, the melodies will provide your soul with unlimited enjoyment. Especially for those seeking the tranquility of meditation, Master Lee's compilation will provide assistance in reaching such peace when accompanied softly during your personal routine.

Total playing time of this musical CD is approximately 48 minutes. Music pieces include:

  • Grand Fearlessness (8:24)
  • Kingly Compassion (4:26)
  • Child in the Wind (8:44)
  • Past Life--Stroll Along the Seashore (4:19)
  • First Rendezvous (2:45)
  • Bodhisattva Wisdom Eyes / Song of Dharma Body / Tides in, Tides out (10:38)
  • The Last Transmission (8:18)

Weider 200 Power Tower Review

The Weider 200 is available through Amazon, but for $149.00, delivered, Bayou Fitness offers a better deal. The 200 is rugged, solid, and is rated for persons weighing up to 300 lbs, compared to 200-250 lbs. for similarly priced units.

I already own a Weider Max (i.e. Crossbow), which I'm happy with, but I wanted something that would allow me to do pull-ups and the captain's chair exercise. I hate doing crunches, and a study by the Biomechanics Lab at San Diego State University ranked the captain's chair as the most effective exercise for working the obliques and second most effective for working the rectus abdominus. The 200 works well for these and related exercises. I don't use it for pushups, but the awkwardly placed lower crossbar could be a problem.

Time from order to deliver by Fed. Ex. Ground was about 10 days. The instructions are straightforward and assembly took about an hour.As with the Max, the instructions state a rubber mallet and two people are required for assembly. The mallet is unnecessary, and never again mentioned in the instructions, and I had no difficulty assembling it by myself. You will require two wrenches and a screwdriver, however.

Another reviewer commented that it doesn't take up a lot of space. I suppose the concept of "a lot of space" is relative, but the 200 isn't something that, like the Max, can be folded up and stored against the wall or in a corner. It's pretty big, and moving it to a different room will require partial disassembly, so plan on assembling it where you intend to use it.
