The description doesnt mention it, but the weights are sand filled bags. When using all 5 of themat the same time the weight is very bulky and uncomfortable.

i had purchased this to be used by a disabled person and within a week on using the tubing for 3 minutes per dayboth sets of tubing snaped. if this product was used of someone who has been bedridden for months how quick will it break with an abled body personusing it? this is the second product of this type i have purchased by everlast and the first one also snapped causing a welt on the face. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I am thouroughly pleased with these weighted gloves.Although they are only 1 lb each, they are a perfect addition to my Tae Bo workouts.They're a great tool to add to any workout... cardio or toning.The palms are open, keeping the rest of the glove dry while you're working out.I was so pleased with the price also, other gloves that I priced were over $20 / pair.If anyone is sitting on the fence trying to decide whether or not to purchase them... don't question yourself anymore!

The last thing I wanted to do was pay $30 for ankle weights and I knew there are cheaper versions of ankle weights but you get what you pay for.The metal weights in the Everlast model are easily removable and it's comfortable no matter how many bars are attached.

I'm currently using these ankle weights to rehab my knee back from ACL reconstruction surgery.Each week I increase the weights (up to 5 lbs) max.These Everlast weights are more comfortable than the ankle weights I use when I'm with my physical therapist.Well worth the investment.

This hooks get a low rating from me. They are to painful to use. Once you grip the bar/dumbbell etc, and wrap your hands around the hooks, they cut in to your hand making it impossible to lift anything heavy.This defeats the purpose of the hooks in the first place.

I'm usually very pleased with the purchases from Everlast.However, This was something that doesn't work for me.First, I'll tell you I'm a pretty big guy: 6'1", 260 lbs.The first time I used the push up bars, they bent-all the way to the floor-almost pinched my fingers on the ground!!Besides my weight, but the force of "pushing-up" caused them to bend.Unless you look like the thin guy from the picture in the ad, average about 165lbs, small frame, don't waste your money.Also, the grips are very thin, and very uncomfortable for those with big hands.I would just go get the $10 ones from Wal Mart, they are much more stable on the ground and won't BEND the first time you use it!
