This is just like all the other pull up bars which don't require any tools to fasten. It gets the job done and is designed just like the more expensive versions. It doesn't have any add on features but you really don't need it. You can get wide on this bar all I added to it was some foam to the end of the bars for my hands. Bicycle foam handles work just fine. My only gripe was the directions for assembly where non existent. Just make sure your door is not too wide and that you don't have too much fancy border around the frame. This would prevent it from fitting perfectly and securely. But other then that I get a good work out from it.
