These balls were exactly what we wanted for kickball and four square and the price was right
I played this game in highschool about 6 years ago. So happy i found the throton online! Excited to introduce it to my family and get some good game time in.
These are extremely good four-square balls, although they are a bit hard.They have almost the feel of a basketball and can hurt if you're hit.I think the playground balls from the same company are actually better for playing four-square (and they're a little livelier), although these are certainly well made and very durable.
These balls are awesome for little ones trying to learn how to catch.Our girls got these when they were 18 months and 2.5 and were able to catch them right away.There are knobs on the balls which make them easier to grab and hold onto.It helped us be able to focus on teaching them other parts of learning to catch like keeping your eye on the ball and such ... since they could put all their focus on that and not also trying to catch a slippery ball, they were so excited when they caught the ball nearly every time.I would suggest the 8" balls instead of the 6" ones.The colors could be a little brighter, but you can definitely tell the 6 colored balls apart.They come unfilled and you have 10 days to return them, so definitely take them out right away and pump them up to make sure that all are good (ie no holes) so that you can return them if needed.We didn't have that problem - all were great and still are.We bought them about 6 months ago and still use them all the time as do friends when they come to play.We constantly get asked where we found them.
The kids (at church, on Wed nites) love them. They like the feel of them... throw them... catch them... bounce them... hold them. For whatever reason, they love these things.
We used a plastic wiffle ball bat. Three of the six balls cracked in half within two days.the batters were 8 and 13 years old.Nice colors, however.easy to find (most of them) in tall grass.
The bar itself appears of good quality.However it was mailed with 2 collars that cannot lock or clip to the bar itself. Therefore the weights will fall off the bar (possibly on to your foot)After calling customer service 3 weeks ago I was promised that I'd receive a new set of collars within 5 days.I am still waiting.
This product used to be around $250 what is up with the $90 price jump, this product is way overpriced. There are also other chinning stations for less than half the price. This is a complete waste of money.

This is a great v-shape bar for the money.Of all the bars that I have purchased in the past, this is the boldest, heaviest and best.
