FitDeck Stretch Review

Finally! All the best stretches in one spot. I always find great ideas for stretches that I like in magazines, books, newspapers, but I can never remember them. Fitdeck stretch has delivered them to me in a perfect little plastic holder. I don't do all 50 stretches at a time, but I love shuffling through them for ideas. I'm 50 years old and can do about 80% of the stretches. I just leave the other cards out of the deck. Thanks for consolidating the best stretches in one spot for someone who's losing their memory.

FitDeck Pilates Review

The positions in this Fitdeck are good for me as I'm not exactly a beginner--I used to do pilates regularly before family life took up much of my time. This is the perfect way to start doing pilates again since I can just do it with even 5-10 minutes of free time at home. Now I don't have to try to remember the sequences I did in class or make up something on my own.I will definitely use this again.

FitDeck Navy SEAL (Booster) Review

I've heard a lot about the fitdeck cards from my buddy who has a deck. I was impressed because they were created by a Navy Seal. My buddies and I would get some wicked workouts with the original fitdeck. Now that they just came out with a navy seal deck, I had to buy it myself. This is not for the faint of heart. There are some brutal pull-ups exercises in there that knocked me out of the box. I'm going back to get the new Bodyweight version too to get even more variety. The Navy Seal deck has 26 cards that are more hard core than the bodyweight deck (which has 56 cards), but the bodyweight deck has all the basics that are done at BUDS, too. This is the perfect combo for anyone looking to do more than 3 sets of 10 reps on the flat bench. I like the spec ops stuff much better.

FitDeck Bodyweight & Instructional DVD Review

These cards are for everyone, from the least fit to the most fit. You can do exercises for just particular parts of the body (as the cards are color-coded - e.g. blue for upper body, red for full body, green for middle body, and so on). Or you can do them all. Or some number in between. You can do the number of reps specified for basic, intermediate or advanced, or a combination of them for different exercises. Since you don't require any equipment at all to do them, you can take this deck with you anywhere and work out. Or, like me, you can use it at home, in between days at the gym. You can take it with you when traveling and never pay hotel gym fees again.

I first read about Fitdeck in BICYCLING magazine. Its review said something to the effect that even if you are very fit, doing all the exercises contained in this deck of cards at the advanced level would ensure that you could not even lift a pencil the next day.

I bought this deck and the DVD ten days ago and have since used the cards thrice, in different ways and at different levels. The third time around, I did all the 50-odd cards at an advanced level, and I definitely felt it the next day! I just shuffle the cards at the end of my workout, so that I have a fresh new workout for next time.

I agree with another reviewer Stephen Tobey here: these cards are addictive and fun, and because you can mix them up you will never get bored. Your muscles will not get used to the exercises and will therefore continue to grow stronger as you use the cards over long periods of time.

A word of advice - buy the instructional DVD (it's only $6 extra), even if you exercise regularly. It will show you the safe, correct way to do each exercise, as well as all the stretches.

FitDeck Bodyweight Review

This deck of "playing cards" is fantastic. If you're like me, you're out of shape and there is no way you're going to pay the monthly fees of most exercise gyms. I got a (relatively cheap) yearly pass for centers at the city (exercise, pool, skateboard, basketball, etc.), but I ended up stopping most of that too. This deck of cards is great. Now, I can exercise all areas of my body at my pace and at home or away. No regimented set of exercises because I can change randomly and still get good workouts. I highly recommend this.
