Squat Pad Review

Product works well and is a great deal. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars was because the rubber pad is held onto the bar by a stretchy Velcro cover which is slightly annoying to attach every time.

Goaler One 8' Slideboard with Medium Booties - Roll-up Review

I like slideboards.I enjoy the exercise, it gets my heart rate up better than an exercise bike, and slideboards can roll up for easy storage, very important since I live in a small condo. The Goaler One slideboard has only one thing going for it: the bumpers are very solid and securely lock into the sliding surface. They are hard though.I put on some strips of foam on the inside edge to cushion the shock, and that helped a bit.

The sliding surface requires some furniture polish.I used spray Pledge. It's very squeaky.I could never get rid of the horrid sound. Some polishes made it worse than others. But no matter what I did, this was never a quiet board. The included booties made the squeaking 10 times worse.I used an older, flimsier pair from another slideboard for a quieter exercise.

The bumpers fit into holes pre-cut into the surface. There's a hole on each side and one in the center. There's something like 3 sets of holes on each end making this slideboard fairly adjustable. If you attach the bumpers at the far ends, this design means that you are sliding over several center holes. You can seen the wear on your carpet where your feet go side back and forth over the carpet.Perhaps using a cheap carpet runner under the board would have solved this issue.

After less than 6 months of semi-regular use, the sliding surface around the inner most holes began to crack.I guess it's not for use on regular household carpet. Too much cushion underneath and the surface bends, and your foot catches the edge of the hole, and eventually it cracks.

Too bad, it had a fairly promising design.I could overlook the noise, but the cracking surface makes this unusable.I gave this two stars because it might be just fine on a hard flat surface - something I don't have in my condo.

Reaction Ball Review

Fun training tool for basketballers, baseballers, soccer goalkeepers and any sportsperson who needs to sharpen their reflexes. The one flaw is that it isn't as durable as it looks, after just one day of use my one already has little holes and scratches on it.

Product Description

Dynamax Medicine Balls Review

Dynamax Medicine BallsI have six Dynamax medicine balls. I use them for throwing, slamming, thigh kicks, and mule kicks and they have all held up well. In fact I find that for doing slams they survive the best of any I have used. I have found the 4, 6, 8 and 10 pound balls to be the most useful to me when teaching. With over a year of daily abuse I have yet to have one of these balls fall apart. The only modification I made to the balls was to glue a piece of leather over the main stitching and I cut off the carrying loops. The balls soften up with use and become even more of joy to use. I find that I use the Dynamax more than any of my other medicine balls.

Soft feel, stuffed with heavy duty vinyl coated nylon

Adjustable Slant Board Review

I am enjoying the health benefits of this slantboard.I've been having pain in my heel and achilles that I think may be due to plantar fasciitis.I've ruled out weight gained as a cause since I just lost 15lbs.I attributed it to very tight calf muscles and this board seems to be doing the trick.Very easy to use and great construction feel.My only issue is that it does not quite store away flat which is why I left off that 5th star.

Product Description
One-piece adjustable lower-leg stretching board.
