16Kg PowerMax Kettlebell Review

I viewed Tsatsouline's THE RUSSIAN KETTLEBELL CHALLENGE video. I was amazed at the versatility of this low-tech tool. When Pavel hefted the 72 pounder easily with one arm(He looks as if he might weigh 185lbs), I was hooked. I started with the 16 kilo kettlebell, I weigh 145lbs, so it was heavy. I learned the basic movements following the proper postures. My strength and endurance improved noticeably in a few weeks. I have a friend who had a 53 pound kettlebell which humbled me. Now I can workout with that 24 kilo beastie. The kettlebell commands respect, and it rewards tremendously. There is a bit of pain and fear at first, like learning to ride a bike, but the faithful and adventurous user is rewarded. I have seen old footage of Soviet paratroopers using big, heavy silver-toned ones. The Soviets believed in the great results in less time that these things offered. I love and respect my 24 kilo "friend". The gains in strength and proper lifting posture, acquired via kettlebell training, is useful in dealing with everyday lifting chores and challenges.
