I'm 5'3" and 120lbs. The bike nearly tipped over on me several times. The arms move as you cycle, but when it extends, its too far for me to comfortably reach. Also there is no adjustable setting for tension. The fan is tiny too! For someone who is even in moderate shape, I don't think you could get a good workout from. And I wouldn't recommend to elderly b/c it tips to easily. Hope this is helpful.Product Description
