GoFit Chin-Up Bar Review

I wanted a chin up bar that would work well, and conserve some space. At first I looked at the overhanging bars, but something about using weight distribution alone didn't seem safe. So far this mid priced option of "screw in door bars" has worked fine. It came with all the necessary pieces and has held my weight (180ibs) without ripping the wood out n/p. Depending on how large a door frame you have it is also possible to install the end pieces onto a frame still with a door, the pieces are only about 2.5 inches in diameter. The only negative thing I can say is that while the instillation is obvious and took minuets it wasn't perfect. The screws were easily stripped by the electric drill (and yes I was doing everything correctly), and refused to enter all the way into what is relatively soft wood. One of the screws even broke in two. My hope is that despite their poor quality and dull points, the fact the screws are fairly long, and six (total) are used to hold the supports, that this will not be a problem.
